Privacy policy

Last updated October 2026

In short: I collect only what I need to reply to your inquiry and prepare a quote. I don't sell your data, I don't send newsletters without separate consent and I don't use tracking cookies.

  1. Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is [Your Name], a photographer based in [City], Lithuania. [Legal form and registration number, e.g. individual activity certificate no. or company code – owner to confirm]

For anything to do with your data, email [email@example.com].

  2. What I collect

When you fill in an inquiry form, I receive what you type in:

    • Wedding form: your names, email, wedding date, venue or city and, if you like, a few words about the day.
    • Event or business form: name, company (optional), work email, event date and type, venue, hours, number of guests and, if you like, what the photos are for.
    • Technical data: with each submission Netlify records the IP address and browser details to filter out spam.
    • Emails: if you write to me directly by email or phone, I receive what you send.
  3. Why, and on what legal basis

    • Replying to your inquiry and preparing a quote: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
    • Keeping our correspondence and protecting the forms from spam: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
    • The consent checkbox records that you agree to be contacted about this inquiry (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by email.
    • If you book: performing the contract and legal obligations such as invoicing and bookkeeping.
  4. Who else handles it

I never sell your data or pass it on for marketing. Only these service providers process it, on my instructions:

    • Netlify, Inc. (USA): hosts this website and stores form submissions.
    • Resend (USA): sends the automatic email confirming your inquiry arrived.
    • My email provider, for our correspondence. [Provider – owner to confirm]
  5. Transfers outside the EU

Netlify and Resend are US companies. Transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the company is certified, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

  6. How long I keep it

    • Inquiries that don’t lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months. [owner to confirm]
    • If you book: correspondence and the contract are kept for the length of the contract and as long as needed for possible claims; accounting records as long as Lithuanian law requires (usually 10 years). [owner to confirm]
  7. Your rights

You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent. Just email [email@example.com] and I will reply within one month.

If you think your data is being handled wrongly, you can complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, vdai.lrv.lt). I'd be glad if you wrote to me first, so I can put it right straight away.

  8. Cookies

This site uses no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are hosted on the site itself, so your browser doesn't contact third-party servers. If I ever add analytics, this section will be updated and I'll ask for consent where needed.

  9. Photos on this site

If you appear in a photo on this site and would like it taken down, email [email@example.com] and I will remove it.

  10. Changes

If the way I handle data changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
